A good friend of the North Country and Old Man of the Mountain recently passed away. Barbara Ashley was a leader in NH tourism and a good friend of Dick Hamilton. She supported his work in establishing the profile plaza. Both Barbara and Dick served on the Pollyanna of Littleton Board of Directors for many years and both always promoted the optimism and perseverance of Northern NH for many decades.
